MTÜ Jalgpalliklubi Lootos is an Estonian football club that was founded in 1994.
History
The club was founded in 1994. Lootos played their first season in the second division of Estonian championship. The club was mostly packed with former Põlva SK Serviti players. The traditional colours of Lootos are black and yellow. Club colours are inspired by the kit of german football club BVB. The women's team is more successful in Estonia and play in the highest level of country Meistriliiga, while the men's team resides in the Third Division
Stadium
Lootos's home stadium is a recently built Lootospark which holds a capacity of 300 and has an under-soil heating system.
Rivalries
Historically, Lootos has had a healthy rivalry with League 3 club Võru JK (26km) who are FC Lootos's main and oldest local rival. The Lootos-Võru game is known as the South-East Estonian Derby. Valga FC Warrior (90km) come from the Valga County and they are club's second oldest rivals. With 4:4 draw against FC Warrior on away game at 1994 Lootos open club`s league games history. Third rivality is FC Elva.
On 2010, Lootos announced that it would sign a five-year general sponsor deal with the national capital based local mineral water producer Värska vesi and three-year deal with the international sportswear brand NIKE Other sponsors of the club include KWH, TARTAL GRUPP, SPORTREKLAAM, PÕLVA TEED, PÕLVA TÜ and KOMATSU
